Planning, Development and Transportation hearing on Dockets #0812-#0814

    Docket #0812 – Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Two Hundred Thirty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($239,000.00) in the form of a grant for the 2021 Transportation Construction grant, awarded by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission to be administered by the Transportation Department. The grant will fund the Lost Village Project in the Charlestown neighborhood.

    Docket #0813 – Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) in the form of a grant for the 2021 Transportation Planning grant, awarded by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission to by the Transportation Department. The grant will fund a portion of the design cost under the Tetra Tech contract for the Sullivan Square/Rutherford Avenue Project.

    Docket #0814 Message and order for your approval an Order authorizing the City of Boston Conservation Commission to receive a property located at Morrison Street (unnumbered) in the Roslindale neighborhood of Boston and identified by the City of Boston Assessing Department parcel identification number 2005165000 ( the “Property”).

    These matters are sponsored by the Mayor and were referred to the Committee on Planning, Development and Transportation on June 23, 2021.

This enables the City Council to carry out its responsibilities while adhering to public health recommendations and ensuring public access to its deliberations through adequate, alternative means.
