City Council Committee on Ways and Means Hearing on Dockets #0670-0678 and #0679, FY25 Budget: Parks and Recreation

Orders for the FY25 Operating Budget, including annual appropriations for departmental operations, for the School Department, and for other post-employment benefits (OPEB).

Orders for capital fund transfer appropriations.

Orders for the Capital Budget, including loan orders and lease-purchase agreements.

Message and order authorizing the appropriation of One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00) from the income of the George Francis Parkman Fund. The funds are to be expended under the direction of the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation for the maintenance and improvement of Boston Common and Parks in existence since January 12, 1887.

These matters were sponsored by Mayor Michelle Wu and referred to the Committee on April 9, 2023.
