This event is free to the public. The show is called, “From Where I Stand”. Sculptures represent the viewpoints of the artists or “artivists” about common social determinants and stressors facing communities of color in Boston. These pieces are powerful statements about gentrification, crime, addiction, police brutality, poverty, the achievement gap, abuse of women, trauma, mental health, racial profiling and more.
