Courtney Whelan
Historic Preservation Consultant
Courtney Whelan is a Historic Preservation consultant to the City’s Community Preservation Act Office. A resident of Dorchester and supporter of pro-preservation economic policies, Courtney is dedicated to community preservation.
Having worked in various sectors of the historic preservation field, Courtney draws these learned experiences in her day-to-day work for the City of Boston. She has experience in design and construction, nonprofit advocacy and programming, preservation easement monitoring, and local civic engagement.
Courtney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art and Design’s School of Building Arts. Please contact Courtney with your historic preservation questions.
