Small Community Grants Trust Program
The Small Community Grants Trust program funds 501c3 organizations that work with and for the people of Boston, providing immediate and direct impact in a number of program areas.
What are the small community grants?
The Trust Office manages over 300 individual trusts, many of which are for a very specific purpose and generate a small amount of money each year. We’ve grouped a number of these small trusts into the Small Community Grants Program so that we can honor the intentions of the donors by efficiently granting the funds to Bostonians.

The City of Boston is using a new application system for grant programs. While you can preview the application without logging in, applicants will need to create an organization profile on WizeHive in order to apply for a Small Community Grant. The profile is easily editable and will help streamline our application process. The City Grantmaking About Us page will guide you through creating a profile. This page includes instructions for creating a City of Boston supplier ID. If you have questions about WizeHive or need assistance with your profile please reach out to the Grants team at grants@boston.gov, subject line "WizeHive profile".
