I Survived the Great Crash of the Dinos

Written by: Bran G.

Dino Short Story

I woke up at the science museum and I went to the dinos bones and it woke up. My name is He-man and I am a mutant. He-man is born in a lab where they make mutants that are good mutants and have human instincts.

The dino was chasing me! And I ran to somewhere safe and the dino found me. I ran as fast as I could away to the place with the crystals. All of the crystals woke up and turned into a laser. It's blocking the dino from reaching me.

Then he jumps over the lasers and me and the dino become friends. He became my pet/friend. He stays in my garage because he’s practically a giant car and he has a saddle. And that’s how I survived the crashing of the dinos.

Talk about the Text

1. He-Man ends up keeping the dinosaur as a giant pet in his garage! If you could have any wild or prehistoric creature as a pet, what would it be and where would you keep it?

2. The crystals in the museum magically turned into lasers to protect He-Man. If you were hiding in a museum, what would you do to hide?

3. If you woke up in a museum, which exhibit would you visit first?
