The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the Department of Neighborhood Development (DND) to provide an opportunity for public input on certain documents and plans.

PY21 ACTION PLAN HEARING #2

Join us for a virtual meeting on Tuesday, April 27, from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese to discuss DND’s plan to use $28 million in HUD funds to address housing and community development needs in Boston over the coming year.

Public comment

  1. The Department of Neighborhood Development (DND) requests comments on a proposal to use $850,000 of CARES Act (COVID-19) funds to convert temporary housing for persons experiencing homelessness to permanent supportive housing. The comment period is five days from April 15 - April 19, 2021. View the Amendment
  2. A draft of the Action Plan to use $28 million in HUD funds to address housing and community development needs in Boston over the upcoming year that starts on July 1 is posted for a 30-day comment period from April 16, 2021, to May 17, 2021.  View the plan and the appendix
