Requests for Proposals

Below is a current list of Neighborhood Development Requests for Proposals (RFPs). We may also make Requests for Bids, Requests for Expressions of Interest, and Requests for Qualifications available on this page.

You can find all current RFPs for property development below. All RFPs for services can be found on the City of Boston's Supplier Portal. You may see RFPs for funding in both places.

Due to the ongoing public health precautions that the City is taking due to COVID-19, the Department of Neighborhood Development’s (DND) office is closed.

DND has created a method to electronically submit responses to property disposition RFPs, such as RFPs in response to the Neighborhood Homes Initiative program and Real Estate Management and Sales property dispositions.  Please follow these linked instructions for submitting your RFP response electronically.

We strongly request that you use this new electronic method. If you cannot use this method, you may still submit your response in person or via mail.

DND’s Bid Counter is operating on a reduced scheduled, and has relocated to:

Boston City Hall, 1 City Hall Square
Room 241, Elections Department
Boston, MA 02201

Please visit the Public Facilities Department website for additional details about temporary hours of operation. If an applicant wishes to hand-deliver their proposal, DND will accept proposal submissions in advance of the proposal opening by appointment only.  Please use the online scheduler on the Public Facilities Department website to make an appointment to visit DND’s Bid Counter to hand-deliver proposal submission.  Bid Room staff will document any issues with appointments per Legal (miscommunications, no-shows, etc.)

Submissions made via mail should be addressed to:

DND Bid Room
Boston City Hall, 1 City Hall Square
Elections Department, Room 241
Boston, MA 02201

Date of postmark is not applicable by law and the proposal must be received before due date and time.

DISCLAIMER: We will attempt to notify you of any changes and additions to an RFP. But, it's your responsibility  to check our website regularly for any updates, corrections, or information about deadline extensions.
