Upcoming Diversions and ShutdownsNOVEMBER 8–9
Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail Line service will be suspended between South Station and Framingham during the weekend of November 8-9.
Free and accessible shuttle bus service will replace train service between Framingham and South Station. Riders using this service should budget 20 to 70 minutes of additional travel time for express and local shuttles, respectively.
- Shuttle Bus Route #1 will make all stops between Framingham and Wellesley Hills, then run express to South Station.
- Shuttle Bus Route #2 will make all stops between Framingham and Wellesley Hills, then run express to Back Bay.
- Shuttle Bus Route #3 will make all stops between Wellesley Hills and Back Bay, with an additional stop at Riverside for connections to the Green Line D Branch.
- Shuttle Bus Route #4 will make all stops between Wellesley Hills and South Station, with an additional stop at Riverside for connections to the Green Line D Branch.
There will be no shuttle bus service at Wellesley Farms and Lansdowne. Passengers who typically board at Wellesley Farms should use Riverside station as an alternative. Passengers who typically board at Landsdowne should use Kenmore station as an alternative.
Additionally, Commuter Rail service between Worcester and Framingham will be fare-free during this service change. A dedicated diversion schedule will be available on MBTA's website.
NOVEMBER 4–13
Green Line service will be suspended between Park Street and Union Square plus Medford/Tufts on November 4–13 beginning 8 PM on the first day for track work.
- Free and accessible shuttle bus service will replace train service between North Station and Medford/Tufts.
- There will be no shuttle bus service to Union Square. Riders are encouraged to take Bus Routes 109 and 91 between Union Square and East Somerville for standard fare price. Both routes provide transfer connections to the Orange Line and the Red Line. Riders may also take Bus Route 87 between Union Square and Lechmere for standard fare price.
- Accessible van service is available upon request at Magoun Square by speaking with onsite personnel.
- Riders using Green Line shuttle bus services along the full route, from Park Street to Medford/Tufts, should budget an additional 45 minutes of travel time.
- Downtown subway stations will not be serviced by shuttles. Riders can use Orange Line service between North Station and Downtown Crossing for standard fare price
- Riders are encouraged to use the Winter Street Concourse, which connects Park Street and Downtown Crossing
- Green Line C eastbound service to Cleveland Circle will terminate at Kenmore station. Riders should transfer to Green Line B or D branches at Kenmore.

NOVEMBER 14–16
Orange Line service will be suspended between Back Bay and Forest Hills from November 14 beginning 8:30 PM through November 16 to perform signal upgrade work.
- Free and accessible shuttle bus service will make stops between Back Bay and Forest Hills. There will be no shuttle bus service between Back Bay and North Station. Riders using the shuttle bus service should budget at least 30 minutes of additional travel time.
- Riders are also encouraged to consider fare-free Commuter Rail service between Forest Hills, Ruggles, Back Bay, and South Station.

Bicycle Information
GREEN LINE (PARK STREET ⟷ EASTBOUND STOPS)
Riders are encouraged to use bicycles as an alternative mode of transportation during the Green Line shutdown on November 4–13. Use code MBTAGREEN114 for five (5) free Bluebikes unlocks per user, while supplies last. Each unlock covers up to 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, a charge of $0.25/minute will be applied.
