Youth Engagement and Employment
Our department is a one-stop engagement and resource center. We connect, advocate, and serve young residents in Boston. We help youth develop necessary skills and abilities they need in life.In our work, we:
- connect teens ages 15-18 to summer and school-year jobs
- engage Boston’s youth in civic process, and
- provide opportunities for youth career development.

Teens ages 15 to 18 can register to find a fulfilling job during the school year.

The program empowers Boston’s youth to manage $1,000,000 of the City’s budget.
MBTA Youth Pass Program
The MBTA Youth Pass Program provides eligible youth with a reduced cost MBTA pass.
