Conservation Commission Hearing
In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40, the Boston Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing in Boston City Hall, Piemonte Room, on June 21, 2017 to review the following projects to determine what conditions, if any, the Commission will impose in order to protect the interests of the public and private water supply, ground water, prevention of pollution, flood control, prevention of storm damage, protection of fisheries and land containing shellfish, and protection of wildlife habitat:

Watercolor Workshop - Charlestown
Watercolor Painting Workshops take place during the month of June at seven Boston locations.
We invite budding artists ages nine and up to join our ParkARTS Watercolor Painting Workshops. These events take place during June at seven Boston locations. The free workshops are one of the many offerings of the 21st annual ParkARTS program. The program is sponsored by Holly and David Bruce.
The workshops welcome artists of all skill levels. You'll create your own greenspace-inspired masterpieces. We provide the instruction and materials.
This summer’s featured instructor is Juleen Jones. Ms. Jones has a BFA in Fine Art from Montserrat College of Art. She also has a custom painting business called The Artist Touch. Ms. Jones transforms rooms with faux and specialty painting, murals, hand painted furniture, refinishing, and more.

Public hearing draft #1 Assessment of Fair Housing
The AFH is a planning process to shape the future of housing choices in Boston. The AFH will identify key priorities and goals for the City, the Boston Housing Authority (BHA) and the community to work together on over the next 5 years to support fair housing. These priorities and goals will help guide how HUD /federal resources are invested.
