The walking tour will have three main stops. First, we will visit Harbor Towers, where residents have come together to pool their funding and expertise to make two 40-story residential towers more resilient to coastal flooding and storm surge. Next, we will stop at Atlantic Wharf, where Boston Fire will be conducting a technical rescue drill over a deployable flood barrier with specialized vehicles and equipment in a flood scenario. Lastly, we will wrap up the tour by crossing the Fort Point Channel and visiting the City's latest deployable at Martin's Park. The route will be on paved sidewalks along the harbor and will be about one mile in length with frequent stops. Please reach out to Emily Sinsky at emily.sinsky@boston.gov with any accessibility questions or inquiries about the tour.
