Boston Neighborhood Soccer League
The developmental six-vs-six league offers young soccer players the opportunity to compete against each other. The league is for ages 7 - 14.
The program encompasses a boys and girls league, which are both divided into two divisions. Team registration only, pre-registration is required. The program runs on Mondays, but rescheduled games are on Friday, if necessary. The league is sponsored by the U.S. Soccer Foundation.

Boston Neighborhood Basketball League
Established in 1969, the Boston Neighborhood Basketball League (BNBL) is the oldest neighborhood basketball league in the United States. The league is ages 6 through 18.
Teams play one another weekly to vie for the league championship title in three divisions for boys and girls, including:
- 18 and under
- 15 and under, and
- 13 and under.
Coaches must pre-register their teams in the month of May, and the BNBL runs from July through August. For more information, contact Charlie Conners at charlie.conners@boston.gov or 617-961-3093.
Conservation Commission hearing
In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40, the Boston Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing in Boston City Hall, Piemonte Room, at 6:00 p.m. on May 15, 2019 to review the following projects to determine what conditions, if any, the Commission will impose in order to protect the interests of the public and private water supply, ground water, prevention of pollution, flood control, prevention of storm damage, protection of fisheries and land containing shellfish, and protection of wildlife habitat.
Bike Share Expansion Open House - Roslindale

With your help, we identified specific locations suitable for new bike stations. At our open house, you can review maps, ask questions, and share your preferences.
Drop in at any time during the open house and stay for as long as you need. We will give a brief presentation at 7 p.m.
We will focus on Roslindale at this open house but have information about expansion in southern Dorchester, Mattapan, and West Roxbury available, too.
