Currently a City-owned vacant lot, this location and all aspects of the design of the center were selected after a robust community engagement process and based on the input of local residents.
Join the Allston Brighton Health Collaborative and the City of Boston for a 2-mile Bluebikes-only community bike ride on Saturday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. The route and pace are beginner friendly, particularly for folks new to biking and/or new to Bluebike-ing. We'll spend a good amount of time in the beginning going over how to use the Bluebikes and get you comfortable using them in a safe environment before venturing out to the neighborhood.
We will start and end at the Herter Park Bluebikes station. Free Bluebikes coupons will be provided. The ride is expected to take around one hour. Pizza will be provided after the ride. Free bike helmets are also available upon request.
