Collectively, we will commit to cultivating resilient communities for those that have been subject to pain and suffering at the hands of a racist and unjust system. We will demand racial equity and police accountability through radical imagination. We will mobilize art as a form of healing and political protest.

This Rally will be hosted by the Mayor’s Office of Resilience and Racial Equity in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, King Boston, Black Market, and The Roxbury Cultural District. The event will feature community artists and leaders. Social distancing will be adhered to, and masks are encouraged.

The City of Boston is developing concept designs for the Egleston Square intersection and the surrounding area to create safer streets for all.

These concepts are based on earlier community input and now we'd like your help again! We're hosting a series of workshops. Please consider joining a virtual or in-person conversation to learn about the proposed designs and to provide your input.

For this workshop, we'll be discussing the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Washington Street in the heart of Egleston Square as well as safety improvements for people walking and biking on neighborhood streets between Franklin Park and the Southwest Corridor.
