Census, Redistricting, and Elections

We make sure everyone in the City is counted, represented fairly, and has a voice in our elections.

We work to support a complete and accurate census count, draw fair maps for local representation, and make it easy for people to vote. We’re interested in:

  • Making sure every person is counted in the 2030 United States Census

  • Redrawing the lines for City Council districts every ten years

  • Helping people take part in elections

  • Still have questions? Contact:
    City Council
  • Have questions for our committee?

    Please email us at ccc.census@boston.gov

    NEED TO KNOW
The City Council is made up of 20 standing committees. We also create special committees to address certain needs in Boston.
