Residential Eviction Prevention Action Plan

Eviction affects whole households and whole neighborhoods. Boston’s Residential Eviction Prevention Action Plan is a citywide effort to reach people earlier — before a court case — and to work with tenants, landlords, and community partners to keep people housed.

The draft plan is open for public comment from August 17 to September 18, 2026. Read it and tell us what you think — what works, what’s missing, and what would help in your neighborhood?
