Renting to Low Income Tenants

Find information about renting your property to low income tenants and the benefits you can receive.

Income Restricted Rentals: Section 8

Section 8 housing is restricted to households earning a certain amount of money.

Renting to a family through the Section 8 Housing Voucher Program offers many benefits to landlords. The program is federally funded and administered by the Boston Housing Authority (BHA). Once approved, the BHA will help you screen potential tenants and advertise your unit. Vouchers are delivered straight to you (the landlord) rather than through the tenant. Visit the BHA website for complete information.
