Join South End Cannabis and Legacy Operations as they partner with World Famous D'Burger for their 3rd Annual Community Lunch Outreach event.
South End Cannabis and Legacy Operations will be hosting a Community Lunch Outreach at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Melena Cass Blvd on Friday, July 31. This is the 3rd Annual event dedicated to giving back to the South End community and supporting neighbors in need by providing locals with a meal and additional support.
The team is looking for volunteers to assist this Friday during lunch. If you're interested in volunteering, feel free to just show up to help distribute resources, or reach out to South End Cannabis and Legacy Operations owner Derek D’Ambrosio for additional details.

On March 28, 2025, Governor Healy approved an extension to remote and hybrid meeting options for public bodies established under Former Governor Baker's Executive Order of March 12, 2020, Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law through June 30, 2027. The Public Facilities Commission (PFC) will continue to conduct its meetings virtually and to ensure its public access to its deliberations through adequate, alternative means.

This is an opportunity to connect with your neighborhood liaison to receive support connecting with City departments, addressing any concerns, or just to say hello to connect joyfully.

STEM and Emergency Preparedness Workshop - South End
Looking for a free, fun activity to enjoy with the kids? Join us this summer for one of our STEM and Emergency Preparedness workshops hosted by a local teachers and city staff in various parks throughout the City of Boston.
Our STEM and Emergency Preparedness workshops are led by local BPS teacher and Office of Emergency Management staff. They're held Mondays in July and August and run from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Join us for exciting hands-on STEM activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Explore interactive hand on learning experiences while discovering the importance of youth preparedness. Learn about hazards, how to call 911 and how to prepare for emergencies with the Office of Emergency Management!
This series is completely free and open to Boston residents. These workshops will take place in various parks throughout the City of Boston.
Registration is encouraged so we know how many supplies to bring (pre-registration is required for groups of 8 or more). Please email allison.singer2@boston.gov to register.

Description: This office has requested a second Abutter’s Meeting due to significant changes (plans available upon request): withdrawal of garage permit application and abandonment of garage plan, elimination of rear roof deck on fourth-level extension, reduction of bump-out extension from 3' to 2'4", reduction of bump-out from four levels to three levels, no additional square footage proposed, redistribution of existing 147 SF (Greenhouse and Bay Window) vertically at rear of building, and reduction of bump-out width by an additional 2' total (1' on each side) across all three levels.
