Project Goals

14 parcels on Woodcliff St, Letterfine Terrace, and Sargent Street are under consideration for preservation as public open space and community gardening. A virtual community meeting was held on February 23, 2023, hosted by Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative at their Sustainable Development Committee (SDC) Meeting. Community members expressed support for use of these parcels as open space with educational use. On March 23, 2023 DSNI's SDC voted to support MOH issuing an RFP for open space use of the site with an option to build a community education space on the flat parcel on Woodcliff.
