Boston's official Christmas tree arrives!

The annual gift of an evergreen Christmas tree from Nova Scotia will arrive by police escort at Boston Common at approximately 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19.

Hear ye, hear ye! Nova Scotia's town crier, local schoolchildren, and Santa will be on hand to welcome the City of Boston's Official Christmas Tree to Boston Common, a gift to the residents of Boston from the Province of Nova Scotia.

The tree arrives on a flatbed with a police escort and is set in place with a crane, thrilling little ones and grownups alike. Follow the tree's journey online.
