Little Amal

Little Amal is the 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee child at the heart of The Walk. She has become a global symbol of human rights, especially those of refugees.

The City of Boston, along with American Repertory Theatre (ART) at Harvard University, ArtsEmerson, Company One Theatre, Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), Lars Jan, Boston University Center on Forced Displacement, Boston University Arts Initiative, Extinction Rebellion Boston, Foxborough Public Schools, RefugePoint, and The Puppet Free Library, will welcome Little Amal to the City of Boston September 7 - 9, 2023.

Walk with Little Amal from the Egleston Square branch of the Boston Public Library to Franklin Park as she discovers an injured snow goose that’s been separated from her family. She's welcomed into the flock for a HONKing good time!
