PILOT Reform

Our committee evaluates the payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT) agreements entered into by the City of Boston.

We plan to enhance the transparency and consistency in PILOT payments by institutions. As part of our work, our committee will monitor compliance. We want to make sure residents have input regarding the benefits to their community. We also want to develop community partnerships.
