Florence (Flo) Glynn is the Program Coordinator for Immigrants Lead Boston and helped develop and facilitate the pilot program in the Fall of 2020. Flo started working with the Mayor's Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA) as a Rappaport Fellow, and because of her experience in program development and passion for community engagement, she stayed with the department to help make Immigrants Lead Boston a success.
Flo grew up in Virginia with her French family and graduated from the College of William & Mary with a B.A. in Religious Studies and Psychology. She is currently a MSW/MTS graduate student at Boston University’s School of Social Work and School of Theology. To promote civic agency and collective well-being, Flo believes in the power of creating spaces to help people be civically involved. She is excited to see where her passion for civic engagement takes her moving forward.
