Youth Employment and Opportunity

Developing Boston's future workforce!

We employ, develop, and engage Boston's youth. We do this by exposing youth to the workforce and bridging opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our goal is to create a future where youth are educated, equipped, and empowered to transition successfully into adulthood.

About Our Team

We connect youth to work experiences that are the building blocks of their futures. Mayor Michelle Wu’s campaign for summer youth jobs guarantees that any young person in Boston who wants a paid summer job can have one. The Office of Youth Employment and Opportunity supports this by creating work experiences that engage and develop Boston’s future workforce.
