BotaFogo, meaning “to set on fire”, is a great workout that combines dance and fitness all in one. Much like other dance fitness programs, it involves cardio and some strength training. Bota Fogo utilizes visual cues making it more accessible to both Deaf and hearing dancers. Come break a sweat to the sounds of Brazilian music genres such as Samba, funk, pagode, and more. The best part is, it doesn’t require previous dance experience! Just follow the instructor and have fun!

Click the link below to sign up for the class on Eventbrite. This will allow you to add it to your calendar and receive updates if there are changes or cancellations due to the weather.

The Putting For Parks Third Annual Golf Tournament will be on
Monday october 19, 2026.  | registration opens may 10, 2026

Tee up for a great cause!

Join us for the Third Annual Putting for Parks Golf Tournament, benefiting youth sports and recreation programs offered by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department. This year’s tournament will once again take place at the beautiful George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park and promises a memorable day of golf, camaraderie, and community impact.

Participants will enjoy 18 holes of golf, exciting contests throughout the course, and a post-tournament luncheon on the scenic patio.

More than just a day on the green, Putting for Parks helps ensure that Boston's young people have access to free, high-quality recreation opportunities in neighborhood parks across the city. Proceeds from the tournament support youth sports leagues, instructional clinics, summer programs, fitness initiatives, and special events that encourage healthy lifestyles, build confidence, foster teamwork, and create lasting memories.

Whether you're a seasoned golfer or simply looking to support a meaningful cause, we invite you to join us as we invest in the future of Boston's youth.....one putt at a time!

We look forward to seeing you on the green!
