Girls Leap will be teaching this two-day training focusing on self-defense, self-esteem, and sexual health awareness.

Memory Cafe is a friendly and relaxed monthly gathering for you and your loved one to meet with others for support, companionship and fun. The free event features:

• a safe and supportive environment
• shared conversation over a cup of coffee
• fun, simple activities with your loved one and the group
• peers facing similar challenges
• a social. relaxing and supportive environment, and
• resources available to help.

A care partner must accompany guests who require personal care assistance. This program is made possible by a grant from the Blue Hills Bank Charitable Foundation.

We are currently in open enrollment for health insurance, from November 1 to January 31. At our event, you can come to the East Boston Public Library and meet with a certified Navigator from the Boston Public Health Commission. They can help you complete a health insurance application and choose a health plan. You can also come and ask questions about the health plans offered by the Health Connector and MassHealth.

Our services are free and confidential. We offer help in English, Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, and Portuguese. We will also provide food at the event.
