Join the Electric Vehicle Charging team for a virtual open house on Monday September 23, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.. We are hosting an East Boston focused discussion on our curbside EV charging program, public-private partnerships, and municipal lot charging. We’ll be looking at locations across East Boston for level 2 charging and DC fast charging.

Our vibrant City Hall On The Go truck has a scheduled stop near your neighborhood, bringing essential municipal services right to you.

We are adding to our public bike share system in every Boston neighborhood. In this phase we are focusing on these neighborhoods: Charlestown, East Boston, South Boston, and the Waterfront.

At this open house event, there will be a brief presentation at 6 p.m. After, attendees are invited to review maps and site plans of our proposed station sites. We will answer questions and take your comments. Attendees may drop in at any time. 

The content will be the same at all four open houses in this phase.

“Kayak the Night” is funded through the Office of Nightlife Economy at the City of Boston. Each event will have food, kayaking and fun. This is a substance-free event that children and adults are invited to attend.

We will have Coast-Guard approved lights for safety on kayaks as well as two safety boats that will be able to provide kayakers with support should they need it. You need to reserve a date/spots in order to attend the event. Reservations can be done by emailing mvillagomez@piersparksailing.org with the number of people that are attending and what date you’re hoping to attend. Folks with disabilities are welcome and encouraged to participate and we will have activities for them as well.
