Everyone in Boston deserves safe streets. We have a bold plan for transforming Boston's streets to better serve people walking, rolling, and riding bikes. Join Mayor Wu's Office of Civic Organizing and Mayor Wu’s Jamaica Plain Liaison, Tiffani Caballero. The truck will be at Mozart Park from 5:30 - 7 p.m. You can request services online.

Boston Park Rangers, Urban Wilds staff, or Parks employees will provide formal and informal discussions or tours during the hikes. Some hikes may be more focused on taking a walk in the park, while others may be more informational.

Please note — this is not a hike. This is a "Horse of Course" program hosted by a Boston Park Ranger. Come meet one of the mounted units from our herd and learn about their role in the parks, and how they are cared for.

The premiere annual arts event in one of Boston’s most eclectic neighborhoods, Jamaica Plain Open Studios (JPOS), is returning in 2022 for its 29th year.

Open Studios is an opportunity to take a rare public peek at some private spaces. The free event showcases the artwork of up to 200 artists at 50 sites including artists’ studios, the historic Eliot School, local businesses and more.

The Jamaica Plain Open Studios (JPOS) is an annual celebration of the arts in Jamaica Plain that gives the public and artists an opportunity to connect, converse and deal in art works. During JPOS, visitors can experience locally created art, clothing, jewelry, and home accessories, and can buy directly from the artists. Our artists include a mixture of newcomers, emerging student artists as well as more established artists, many with quite high profiles in their field.

Come meet your Age Strong neighborhood advocate. Advocacy representative, Mary, will be at BCYF Curtis Hall on the last Wednesday of the month. Mary can help you with applying for eligible city services, government benefits, and more. 

This year's annual Love Your Block cleanup will take place September 16, 17, and 24. Projects will be hosted by your local neighborhood and civic organization.
