Founded in 2017, Dorchester-based PIONEERS Run Crew is committed to making the sport of distance running more equitable, accessible, and fun for BIPOC community members. On April 15, 2022 we are hosting our 3rd annual 26.TRUE Marathon - this one-of-a-kind event is a full unsanctioned marathon (26.2 miles) with a course that was specifically designed to amplify and celebrate the culture and diversity of the neighborhoods that make up the City of Boston. We invite all Boston community members to come support and cheer for this year's runners!
