On June 10, we will offer a second Basic Skills class at noon.

On April 29, this class will be followed with a second Basic Skills class that starts at noon.

REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 29

Join us for a community event celebrating an upcoming public art installation at Fire Station 42 in Roxbury, "Call and Response: Radiating Safety" by L'Merchie Frazier. The event will be held at The Possible Zone on Saturday, April 8, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artist, interact with firefighters, engage in hands-on learning with firefighting equipment, and enjoy refreshments and giveaways.

"Call and Response" aims to highlight the collective community call for protection and safety as well as the expectations of trust as a response of service by firefighters.  This sculptural mural will exemplify the critical synergy between the first responders and the respect for the presence of the fire station by resident and business community members.

Please join us for the first community engagement meeting for Ceylon Park where we will present the existing conditions of the park and discuss input on future improvements in an online presentation with a discussion session afterward.
