2023 Trellis Lighting at Christopher Columbus Park

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park will host the 21st annual holiday lighting of the signature trellis at Christopher Columbus Park in the North End.

Boston’s historic waterfront, will be transformed into a beautiful holiday display when the park’s 260 feet of trellis are illuminated with 50,000 blue lights near the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel and throughout the park. 

Other festive activities include: 

• Musical performances from North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC)
• Holiday classics performed by PHAEDRA 
• Joyful harmonies performed by Northeastern University a cappella group Pitch, Please! 
• Special guest appearance from Santa Claus and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. 
• Eggnog from H.P. Hood
• Clam chowder from Joe's Waterfront
• Hot chocolate and cookies from the Boston Marriott Long Wharf

• Delicious treats from Drakes Cakes 

• Holiday Coffee, candy canes and water from Haul Ads and Roche Brothers 

• LEGO (R) Discovery Center Boston - LEGO Tent 

• Cool merchandise from PNC Bank
