Katie Nolan

Program Manager, Parks and Recreation

Katie Nolan’s journey into the world of sports began at an early age in a community with a deeply competitive yet simultaneously close-knit spirit, her hometown, Dorchester. Katie immersed herself into athletics in her neighborhood and throughout the City of Boston by competing in various tournaments and leagues, and by taking part in multiple recreation programs offered by the City.

During her college years, Katie found her home on the ice where she played hockey for the University of Southern Maine. fWhile there, Katie took her academic and athletic dedication to a higher level, and explored new leadership roles alongside her teammates.

After graduating, Katie returned to Boston, where she found her true calling in coaching. With a fervent desire to give back to her community, she became deeply involved in youth sports, particularly in her hometown. Recognizing the transformative power of sports in shaping young lives, Katie became a dedicated coach, mentoring aspiring athletes in both hockey and softball.

Her commitment to the youth of Boston goes beyond the scoreboard, as she instills in her players the values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. She has a passion for building community and believes in the power of sports to bring people together, giving everyone the ability to grow as both athletes and individuals. Katie takes pride in empowering the next generation of athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the field and ice.

In her free time, you can find Katie cheering on her favorite Boston sports teams, participating in various recreational sports leagues, or enjoying the vibrant culture of her city. With her unwavering passion for sports and her deep-rooted connection to her community, Katie continues to inspire and uplift those around her, leaving a lasting impact on the hearts and minds of all who know her.
