Veterans Services

We recognize, engage, and advocate for our veterans and their families, by connecting them with the services and resources they've earned.

If you are a veteran or know a veteran having suicidal thoughts, please contact the veterans crisis line.

Our department oversees the financial assistance program known as Massachusetts General Law (MGL) Chapter 115. This includes the decoration of veterans' graves and hero squares on Memorial Day. We also carry out commemorative activities related to Boston veterans.
