April 1776. The British army has finally left Boston. Now, nearly a year after his death, friends and family can finally hold a funeral for Dr. Joseph Warren. Inside King’s Chapel, his brother, his fiancée, and his good friend Paul Revere gather to mourn Warren and to make sense of their loss. Outside the Chapel, two Black abolitionists wonder what this revolution will mean for them. A play about memory, legacy, and the potential and pitfalls of the American Revolution.

Celebrating the birth of the U.S. Army, the Old Guard (U.S. Army 3^rd Infantry Regiment) will perform a tribute including music by The Fife and Drum Corps (FDC) and the Commander-in-Chief’s Guard (CinC).

The Charlestown Preservation Society invites you to Revolution Ignited, a spirited public celebration launching the Bunker Hill 250 commemoration week—continuing Boston’s and the Nation’s observance of America 250.

More than 1,500 flags (American and British) will be on display in the Flag Garden.

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services will hold a naturalization ceremony at the Bunker Hill Monument. Two hundred-fifty new citizen candidates will be sworn in and receive a Passport to their National Parks. New citizens will be invited to plant the first flags of the Flag Garden. The Monument will be closed for the morning and reopen for climbing following the ceremony.

The Bunker Hill flag will be raised at the Monument followed by a speaking ceremony to recognize and honor the service and sacrifice of Charlestown veterans. Invited guests include Bunker Hill Parade Chief Marshal James Chambers and General Ralph Rizzo

Coffee and treats will be served. This event will be hosted by The National Parks of Boston and Bunker Hill Associates.
