To bring youth employment opportunities to all parts of Boston, the Office of Youth Employment & Opportunity (YEO) is hosting a neighborhood pop-up in Dorchester. This event will connect young people citywide to local youth employers, foster their professional development, help them complete their applications, and assist with the onboarding process.

The Mayor's Office of Returning Citizens invites our City's returning citizens (individuals who have spent time in jail or prison or otherwise have a criminal record) to our ORC Hiring Event to connect with the City of Boston hiring managers who are looking to hire for open positions.

The Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement, Boston Public Library, and Pathway for Immigrant Workers are hosting an information session about how to sponsor a low-wage immigrant worker for a green card. An immigration lawyer will give a presentation and answer questions.

The information session is on Wednesday, March 13, from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the Commonwealth Salon of the Central Library in Copley Square. Registration is encouraged but not required.

This is a uniquely structured event is designed to provide first-time founders with a unique opportunity to connect with seasoned entrepreneurs and  mentors who have successfully navigated the challenges of building their own ventures.

During this event, early-stage startup founders and senior mentors will break out into small, intimate groups to foster meaningful conversations.
