Mayor Wu’s Neighborhood Coffee Hours are a unique opportunity to speak directly with the Mayor and staff from City departments about open space and their neighborhoods. If there are inclement weather conditions, the time and location may change to an indoor location and will be reflected on boston.gov/events.

A neighborhood staple known for bringing the community together over a cup of coffee, Dunkin’ is back to fuel the conversation with iced coffee and donuts. Dunkin’ will also provide lawn game activities for attendees, gift card giveaways, and the opportunity for residents to win a raffle prize. Free flowering plants will be provided by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department and fresh fruit will be provided by Star Market, while supplies last.

A draft of the Boston Coastal Storm Risk Management Assessment Study was released to the public on Friday, July 24.  Join the Office of Climate Resilience for a one-hour virtual webinar to walk through the draft report outline, learn about key USACE terms, and learn how to provide feedback during our public comment period. Boston Urban Wilds: Celebrating 50 Years of Conservation and Community is now on view at the Mayor's Neighborhood Gallery (2nd floor) in Boston City Hall. Through photographs by Lisa McCarty, this exhibition highlights unique environments that have been protected by the Boston Urban Wilds program, as well as the people who care for and commune with these wilds. Don't miss your chance to discover these spaces and connect with the artist!

Directions: Please use the entrance located on Congress St, across from Faneuil Hall. Pass security and take the elevators to the 2nd floor.

Walk the waterways of the legendary Emerald Necklace from the Back Bay Fens to Jamaica Pond. On this guided journey, follow the green ribbon designed by Frederick Law Olmsted as it winds through historic parks, scenic waterways, and hidden landscapes across the city. Discover the parks that connect Boston—one park at a time. Please bring plenty of water and comfortable shoes. 

• Meeting location will be at the flag pole at the Back Bay Fens Victory Gardens at 1200 Boylston Street, Fenway, MA 02215. 
• Ending location will be at the Jamaica Pond Boathouse located at 507 Jamaicaway, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130. 
• All ages.
