The events take place Thursdays in July and August at outdoor locations across Boston. The six-concert Tito Puente Latin Music Series presents a soundscape of live Latin music with a strong salsa influence in parks around the City. The series is coproduced by Berklee, City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department, and IBA Boston. Performers include:

  • Berklee faculty, students, and alumni, and
  • world-renowned artists.

There are free salsa lessons led by MetaMovements at select concerts.

About Radio Calle 32

Born from a late night jam session at 32nd street in Boston, Radio Calle 32 includes artists from all corners of the world who will make you laugh, move, and dance with their upbeat and eclectic rhythms. This colorful mix of musicians, heats up any performance with an array of Latin music – playing anything from Latin top hits to salsa and merengue.

About Zayra Pola

Dubbed “La reina del timbal” (the Queen of timbales) in Puerto Rico, Zayra Pola’s rhythmic beats and melodious voice puts a spell over the audience, so you won’t be able to resist dancing for her entire performance! A Berklee College graduate, Pola has performed with musical legends such as Gilberto Santa Rosa, Cheo Feliciano, Grammy-winner Eguie Castrillo, and Grammy-winner Bill Whelan.
