Looking for support getting connected to resources and navigating City services? Meet with the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement during our community office hours at the Copley Branch of the Boston Public Library. 

Office hours will take place on the following days:

• First Thursday of every month from 4 - 7 p.m. at the East Boston branch
• Fourth Thursday of every month from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Copley branch

Registration is not required, and interpretation and disability accommodations will be available.

Memory cafés meet at a variety of places, including coffeehouses, museums, or community organizations. Each memory café is different. Some cafés invite guest artists, some offer education about memory changes. And some are just for relaxing and chatting. But, all cafés share one goal — to help guests feel comfortable and to know that they are not alone. Cafés are a place to talk with others who understand what you are going through. You can forget about your limitations and instead focus on your strengths.

They're held Tuesday through Friday in July and August and run from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. These drop-in workshops encourage kids to explore their creativity through projects like mask making, crayon art, watercolor and much more. Supplies are provided, but you'll need to bring your creativity! 

This series is completely free and open to Boston residents. These workshops will take place in various parks throughout the City of Boston.
