COVID-19 testing sites

The City of Boston has partnered with community health centers, hospitals, and pharmacies to increase access to COVID-19 testing for residents.
City Hall operating hours

Boston City Hall is now open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 pm.

Trash and recycling

Due to the holiday, trash and recycling pickups will be delayed in some neighborhoods this week. Please check your schedule.
Parking meters

Parking meters are running on their normal schedules today.
Street Cleaning

Street cleaning is on a normal schedule.
Tow lot

The tow lot is only open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Automated kiosks are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for vehicle releases.

2021 election information

Early voting in Boston
For the Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 2, the early voting period starts on Saturday, October 23, and runs through Friday, October 29.
Vote by mail
All registered Boston voters can vote by mail in the 2021 Municipal Elections. Aside from mailing your ballot, you can also drop your ballot off at any City of Boston drop box up until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
