Jobs, wages, and workforce development

We focus on issues affecting jobs in every industry.

Committee chair: Councilor Baker

Vice chair: Councilor Pressley

Members: Councilor CampbellCouncilor Jackson, and Councilor Zakim

We aim to create more jobs in Boston, as well as safe and fair conditions for workers. We review all organized labor issues. Our committee also works to find ways for residents to get the training they need to develop in their careers.

We’re interested in growing small businesses and the City’s innovation economy.
