Schools shift to all remote learning

Due to a rising COVID-19 infection rate in the City, all Boston Public Schools students will shift to remote learning effective Thursday, October 22.
City department hours

City Hall is open to the public on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. If you need to visit a department, you must make an appointment.

Emily Patrick

Senior Neighborhood Business Manager: Roslindale, West Roxbury, Washington Gateway

Emily Patrick is the Senior Neighborhood Business Manager in the Office of Economic Development, where she oversees Roslindale Village Main Streets, West Roxbury Main Streets, and Washington Gateway Main Streets. She is also the contact for small businesses in the following neighborhood commercial districts: River Street, Humboldt Avenue and Seaver Street, Blue Hill Avenue, Morton Street, and the North End.

She has spent the past six years working for the Boston Main Streets program, overseeing the Business Technical Assistance program and serving as the liaison for several Main Streets districts. Previously she spent over four years as the Executive Director of Hyde Park Main Streets where she was instrumental in the installation of light-pole banners, way-finding signage, more than 40 flower planters, and a neighborhood mural at the gateway of the district.
