The Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement, Boston Public Library, and Pathway for Immigrant Workers are hosting an information session for employers about how to sponsor a low-wage immigrant worker for a green card. An immigration lawyer will give a presentation and answer questions.

The information session is on Monday, September 25, from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the Commonwealth Salon of the Central Library in Copley Square. Registration is encouraged but not required.

AI Decoded, hosted by the BPL and the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, is a creative workshop for teens to learn about AI tools, how AI connects to your interests, and what role you play in shaping the future of AI.

Bring your curiosity, your doubts, and your opinions on AI. We’ll talk about it all, plus:

  • how we can identify and define AI
  • the benefits and harms of AI tools
  • the future of AI
  • the possibilities AI brings for joy and justice

You’ll learn the basics of how AI works, the history of AI development, and how you fit into and shape the future of AI. You’ll also get a chance to play with generative AI tools to create your own visions for the future of AI.
