O curso de 10 horas da OSHA (Administração de Segurança e Saúde Ocupacional) em construção oferece treinamento essencial em segurança no local de trabalho, abrangendo tópicos importantes como identificação de perigos, proteção contra quedas, segurança elétrica e equipamentos de proteção individual (EPI). Projetado para trabalhadores iniciantes, ele ajuda a garantir a conformidade com as normas da OSHA, a Portaria de Segurança em Demolição e Construção da Prefeitura de Boston, e promove um ambiente de trabalho mais seguro no setor da construção. Cada participante receberá o cartão OSHA 10 e um certificado para entregar ao seu empregador. Todos os trabalhadores em projetos de construção financiados com recursos públicos devem possuir um cartão OSHA 10.

The third round of applications for the Boston E-Bikes Incentive Program is here! The E-Bikes Incentive Program distributes vouchers ranging from $800 to $1,500 to help reduce the costs of purchasing a standard e-bike or cargo e-bike. Applications are open between October 1-15, at boston.gov/ebikes.
The program serves City of Boston residents, ages 18 and up, who are one of the following:
The program also assists adults with disabilities, who cannot ride traditional upright e-bikes, and are looking to buy an adaptive e-bike or a e-handcycle wheelchair attachment. Check out our recent video on an adaptive e-bike user who participated in the program! The vouchers for adaptive e-bikes are from $2000 to $5000, and applications are accepted from September 15-30 at boston.gov/ebikes.

What to bring: your list of prescriptions, Medicare/other insurance cards, your Medicare.gov username/password (if already set up) and valid ID.
