Intergenerational LGBTQ+ Café
Community is built in big moments, and in small, playful ones.
Join us for a special Game Night edition of Brewing Connections, our intergenerational LGBTQ+ café where people of all ages gather to connect, laugh, and build relationships across generations. This time, we’re featuring Boston Gaymers, bringing games that spark collaboration, storytelling, and a little friendly competition.
Inspired by the spirit of oral history — a practice Queer History Boston uses to preserve and honor LGBTQ+ experiences — this evening invites us to share time, conversation, and joy in ways that feel natural and welcoming. Over games and light refreshments, we’ll celebrate the simple power of being together.
🎲 Games. Community. Connection.
Presented by: Ethos; Queer History Boston; LGBTQ Senior Housing; LGBTQ+ Elders of Color; and The City of Boston’s Mayor’s Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement, Age Strong Commission, and Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement

Join us to celebrate Timothy Hyunsoo Lee's solo exhibition at the Mayor's Art Office (5th Floor) in Boston City Hall.
Celebrate the opening of Timothy Hyunsoo Lee's solo exhibition, in which the artist explores the experience of existing between cultures, never fully here nor there. Drawing from his life as a queer immigrant who arrived in New York City as an undocumented child, Lee examines how gestures of invisibility and hypervisibility function as survival strategies for immigrant communities navigating layered identities within hostile environments.
Directions:
Please enter on Congress St (across from Faneuil Hall), pass security and take the elevators to the 5th floor.
Join us to celebrate the Boston Strasbourg Sister City Association's exhibition at the Boston City Hall Galleries!
Since 1960, Boston and Strasbourg have been sister cities, connected by shared values of democracy, education, and cultural exchange. Strasbourg, like Boston, is a center of government, economy, culture, education, and medicine. Strasbourg and Boston are known for their majestic churches and beautiful historic landmarks. Both cities place a great emphasis on historic preservation. In this exhibition, photographers from both cities turn their lenses on familiar streets, revealing what makes each location unique while discovering unexpected resonances across the Atlantic.
Join us to see the show, mingle with fellow art-lovers, and enjoy light refreshments at the opening reception of "2 Perspectives."
Directions:
Please use the entrance located on Congress St, across from Faneuil Hall. Pass security and take the elevators to the 2nd floor. The Mayor's Neighborhood Gallery is located to the left of the elevator bank.
