Rob Consalvo

Deputy Director, The Boston Home Center

Rob is the Deputy Director of the City of Boston’s Boston Home Center.  The Boston Home Center helps individuals obtain, retain or maintain their homes.  The Boston Home Center offers training, financial help and counseling to first time homebuyers, guidance and funding for homeowners for home improvements and lead paint abatement as well as counseling to help families avoid foreclosure.  The Boston Home Center also markets homes developed for income eligible, first time homebuyers.

Rob attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, where he majored in Political Science.

Before joining DND, Rob was a Senior Sales Representative at National Grid. Prior to that, Rob served 12 years as a Boston City Councilor from District 5. He also served on the staff of Senator Edward M. Kennedy and State Representative Angelo M. Scaccia.

Rob lives in Hyde Park, where he was born, with his wife Michelle and their three children: Amanda, Anthony, and Austin.
