The Charlestown Open House, hosted by Mayor Walsh, gives residents a chance to become aware of City services available to them. It will also give them an opportunity to ask questions to various departments about upcoming and ongoing projects in the area.

Join Mayor Walsh, your friends, family, and neighbors as we celebrate winter and light up Holiday trees in neighborhoods across Boston!
For the 21st year, the Mayor's Enchanted Trolley Tour will continue the festive tradition of lighting holiday trees throughout Boston while bringing presents and holiday spirit to children across the City.
"The trolley tour and tree lightings are great ways to continue to foster the spirit of community and bring a little extra joy to people during the holiday season," said Mayor Walsh. "The holiday season is a time for unity and thanksgiving. All are welcome, and we look forward to visiting different neighborhoods throughout the city for a weekend full of fun and celebration."
The 2016 Mayor's Enchanted Trolley Tour and Tree Lightings are sponsored by the Bank of America. The schedule is as follows:

Movie Night: “The Good Dinosaur”
Movie Nights give residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy popular films under the night skies in city parks in August and September.
All shows begin at dusk (approximately 7:45 p.m.) and are sponsored by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department and Northeastern University in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Tourism, Sports, and Entertainment with media support by the Boston Herald and HOT 96.9. Additional support is provided by Verizon Fios. Free popcorn will be provided by AMC Loews Theatres.
