How to Hire a Home Repair Contractor

This free workshop will explain what you should know before you sign a home repair contract. Learn about what questions you should ask, whom you should check with, and what your resources are if you run into trouble.

Workshop leader Julio Fuentes is a graduate of the Preservation Carpentry Program at North Bennet Street School. In addition to leading home improvement workshops for Boston’s Department of Neighborhood Development, Julio teaches woodworking to both children and adults at The Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts, as well as serving as Facilities Coordinator.

For 14 years, he worked as a Construction Supervisor at The Classic Group (Burlington, MA), a design-build firm focusing on high-end construction and remodeling. Julio is currently the owner and operator of Construction Consulting Services.
